EH DON'T BE MAD
>> 09 February 2012
Yesterday I sent my car for service. Not the full service. Just want them to check what is wrong with my car because whenever I drove nearing to 100 km/h, the steering vibrated. Not cool at all. I was scared to drive faster (scared doesn't mean I wasn't driving fast ;p). However the other day, I brought my mom to KL and she kept complaining don't drive so fast, its dangerous and repeatedly asked me to send my car for service. Being a good daughter, I obeyed her and sent my car for service.
I went to Perodua Service Center at 2.05pm (just want to be precise on what time I came). I asked the Chinese customer service personnel on what is wrong with my car and whether they can check it today. She said okay they can check it today but need to wait for 1 hour and asked me to come back at 3pm. I was ready to go out from the service center when her boss suddenly came and said ''its okay just wait for 15 minutes''. I was confused so I asked ''which one is right? You said different, she said different''. But the boss persistently asked me to just wait for 15 minutes and offered me and my sister drinks. In my mind I was like since he is the boss, he should know better.
However only at 3pm, the worker asked for my key and drove my car to the back. I could see through the building glass whether they already started checking my car or not. Time continued to pass, my stomach already growling and the drink offered before already finished. I felt a bit angry since the clock already showed 330pm but they didn't check my car yet. My car didn't move at all. But I still can contain my anger so I waited for another 15 minutes. But even after 15 minutes the car didn't move at all!
Therefore I made a decision it is better for me to send the car to the outside service (since I already knew the vibration is due to balancing problem). Hungry and angry, I asked the same customer service personnel ''why so late? If so late then I want to bring my car to outside service''. To my surprise, she replied ''I already said you have to wait for 1 hour''. In my mind that time, oh my goodness is this how you treat your customer? But I didn't want to lose so I replied, ''but your boss said wait for 15 minutes only ma'' And she showed the whatever I don't know gesture. Thank goodness I didn't shout to her ''hey you are so rude!'' because before I could say anything she went to the back to check with the mechanics.
When she came back, she said it will take about 1 hour for my car. What? 1 hour? Sarcastically I asked whether the 1 hour means they will start to check or they will finish fixing the balancing problem. Thank goodness she replied they are driving and fixing my car now. At 425pm, my car was ready. Everything was fixed. But I was still mad. I waited for 2 hour and 20 minutes just for the balancing. What I hated the most was the fact the boss promised different thing. I really hate if ppl unable to commit what they promised. The boss is the type of person who will say anything so that he can get a lot of customers. While I was waiting, I seriously could hear him convincing customers to buy car from him. I pitied those ppl. Please don't trust him.
What I regret the most is the fact that I lost my coolness. It would be awesome if I can ask the customer service personnel nicely. The quality of respecting each other is extremely important in life. Eventhough the customer service personnel wasn't that nice but I should show the good quality. However knowing myself, there is high possibility that I will still be like that in the future. LOL. Let just hope I won't be like that again and able to maintain my coolness. Heehee.
Till then. Assalamualaikum.
