A lil' Update

Hows your weekend? Me a bit tired. Went around finishing list to do for wedding. Here's a bit of what I was doing this weekend.

Went and buy fabric from Jakel KL. Me and my fiance went to Jakel KL because we actually wanted to go find our wedding card too. But was stucked in jam like 2 hours. Jalan TAR was so crowded with people. Seriously we choose the wrong day. Pfft. But I successfully bought my fabric for reception. Hehe. It was a simple vintage lace. A lil bit like this:

It was cream in color. Love it to bits. It was RM85/meter. We took like 1 hour to buy all the material for the reception and the veils. So fast kan? And yeah, I'm going to DIY my own veil. The chiffon veils in Jakel were too expensive. It was RM240 - RM380. So not worth it.

Then at night, we went to see the photographer for my side. Sealed the deal and paid the deposit. Since I am bride on budget, I choose the RM1650 package. Not too cheap for my mom thou. For the  package, I will get solemnization and reception shoot, custom album with leather cover, DVD case with leather cover and 8R picture with wood frame. Below was one of his work.

Hope everyone have good chemistry on that day. Good chemistry means nice picture. Nice picture means happy me. Everything is about happiness. And money of course. Haha.

On the next day, we went to get our kursus kahwin certificate. Yeay! One legal document is settled. On to the next legal document next month. One step at a time lah right? Hehe.

We also went to buy lace to patch on my veil. Was looking for lace to patch on both  veils but couldn't find the right lace for my reception veil. So pending on the item. But the lace I bought for the solemnization veil is so pretty and nice on the budget too. It was RM33/meter. Just buy 1 meter is enough to patch. It looks like this lace patched on veil worn by Mrs Faezah Elai on her majlis khatam Quran. That's explain the simplicity of her veil.

But for mine, of course I will add a lot of beads. Its nikah kan? Hihi.

Before the day ended, we went to Klang to send my baju to tailor. I seriously have no confidence in the tailor. The tailor was recommended by my colleague and since no other tailor want to accept any order from clients now, so I have no choice. I just hope she can sew my fabric nicely and according to what had been discussed. I still feel scared thou. Will pray to Allah a lot after this.

Then of course we had our break fast. We had it at Restoran Mohd Chan Abdullah in PJ. Alhamdulillah, my stomach was full with nice food. But now become hungry again. Haih *i can't fast today but can't eat too :(
