Weekend Activity

As usual, weekend is for wedding stuff. I feel a bit bored now, only doing wedding thing. No time for other fun thing. I haven't watch yet the controversial Dark Night Movie, Total Recall and the fun dancing movie Step Up. All of them look fun! Really wanna watch each of the movie. But couldn't. Sigh. I'm losing myself in this hectic wedding preparation.

Anyway, I spend this 3 days weekend in my hometown, Manjung. Means I can go to shop selling wedding stuff on my own. If in KL or Selangor, I'm not that confident. I might get lost and on top of that, crime in both states are the highest compared to other states! You cannot go anywhere alone even in broad daylight! It's dangerous. And of course going with fiancé means I have to bear with his not interested face. Which of course can be demotivated.

I bought these.

I love this green paper bag! It is RM0.50/pc 

I always wanted to buy this doorgift box. It has the matte finishing on the cover. It is RM0.29/pc. 

This tassle is RM1.30 for two. I will use this to decorate the hantarans. Will need 4 of this for 1 hantaran. 

This span is RM0.80/pcs. What is the purpose? I will show in other post. Hehe

I also booked my canopy! I booked the canopy at Etak Event Management Services Sdn Bhd. Below pics show the packages I booked.

This is the package for bride canopy. I booked 1 canopy like this.

This is the package for 20 ft x 30 ft canopy. Can accommodate 6 tables in 1 canopy. So I booked only 3 canopies like this.

I guess for 600 guests, 4 canopies are sufficient. I hope.

I asked for all seats to be covered and with ribbon. It is RM2 per seat thou. I also asked for all white in color. Only the ribbon in beige. I want the harmonious feeling for my canopy. Here are my inspirations.

But sadly, the tablecloth length is short, it won't cover the whole table. So people can actually see the bottom of the tables. Wuwu. If I want the full length tablecloth, I need to add more money. I asked for free, but they didn't give it. Thank goodness the ribbons are free. If not, I will cancel the order and ask from other vendors.

Pfft. Anyway glad to know I'm not yet a bridezilla. lol

So what is the total cost for the canopy?

Bride canopy = 1 x RM650
Guests canopy = 3 x RM250 = RM750
Seat cover = 180 x RM2 = RM360
Buffet table = 2 x RM30 (got discount RM5) = RM60.

Total cost = RM1820.

To secure the date, I paid RM300.

Really hope they will install everything nicely. But of course, I will monitor them closely.
