cousin's wedding

Today was my cousin's wedding and I just came back from Perak. The road was so jam like bunch of ants were coming out from their nest especially near to bridge to Teluk Intan and Tanjung Karang. Thank goodness my car is an automatic car so my leg was saved from all the sore. I was so tired so I think I will just upload the picture. Like what ppl have been saying, picture speaks a thousand words. Here they are (I was so lazy to capture picture, so I will only show a few pictures)

the last minute

My cousin's wedding is tomorrow and there are a lot of last minute preparation. My cousin just got her wedding dress from bridal boutique yesterday, she still need to find hotel room for her friends, wasted her time for facial and spa yesterday, their family just pick up the curtain and still need to install the curtain rail! How crazy is that? Just now suddenly we got a call saying we cancelled the catering? Like someone, unknown, a guy precisely called the caterer to cancel the catering. Everyone of course went haywire! How on earth we gonna find a caterer in one day? Some more can send foods to kampung area far from city. My mom who easily panic blamed why my aunt didn't follow up with them closely. Mind you this is the first time my aunt manages a wedding. Turned out the caterer got the wrong person. Pffttt.

But seriously it is very important to follow up closely with the caterer. Once in every week and near to the wedding should contact the caterer 3 days apart. Just to be safe.

On the friend's hotel. I think it is unfair for friends to bother the bride to find the hotel room. If you really want to ask help from bride, should be 1 month before. Bride is so busy. They don't have time to entertain this kind of request. So for bride's friends out there, go find your hotel room quickly. This is at least a favor to the bride.

And for the curtain rail and the curtain, they should be set at least 1 week before wedding. Don't waste the last minute for things that you can do way early.

Ergh. I'm getting panic for my cousin now.

current diy

This post will not be related to my engagement. I think I'm too tight up with the engagement work. So much that I think I'm not living my life properly. Messy bed, messy bedroom, upside down wardrobe and not eating healthily. For that reason, I'm taking one week break from the engagement related things which of course just a hope. Well I did success for 2 days. (^.^) So what did I do for the past 2 days? I was modifying my plain purple baju kurung which I wore during my friend's wedding last February into baju kurung with beadings. I will wear it this weekend for my cousin's wedding. So here the sneak peek.
