The Diet Journey Begins

>>  16 November 2015

Just last week someone in my office said that I'm gaining weight and that she could see my double chin clearly. And she was right. For the past 1 month, I'd been eating rice (heavy) for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Why? Because that one night suddenly I was so dizzy that I couldn't even stand. It was due to the gastric problem I had. I didn't take care of what I ate. Sigh.

Since she said that, I promised myself I can't let my body keep gaining weight. It is very unhealthy and scary at the same time. So I plan this meal today.

Breakfast - rice (very small portion) + egg (1) + salad (1) [I used to eat nasi lemak, nasi goreng etc.]

The result? I ate my breakfast at 700am and by the time I reached office at 845am, I was already hungry. Sigh. But I hold onto what that someone said, she said it will be difficult on the first time because our stomach is already used to big portion of food. So I waited until 930am and grabbed a packed of oat biscuit. I believe in start slow first. On other note, I also need to increase the amount of vegetables I took. Only 1 salad? Haha.

Lunch - wrap + saute chicken + salad + rice (very small portion)

The result? I haven't eat my lunch yet. Haha. But you can see I have to add rice into my meal because my body is so used to having rice. I'm scared I will get dizzy if I don't. I just reduce the portion. I hope it will work. Hehe.

Dinner - chicken + brocoli + carrot

I don't want to eat rice for dinner.

My husband said if I want to lose weight, I also need to exercise. Controlling my diet can just maintain my weight. So I am so determined to cycle and burn that calorie.

Husband bought this for almost two months ago and I just used it twice. TWICE!

Hehe. Okay.

That's all.

Bye! Assalamualaikum.

Getting Big

>>  12 November 2015

Haha. The tittle sounds like I have a business and its getting big, but nope! It's me who is getting bigger and fatter each day. Just this morning the tea lady said to me;

" Saya rasa awak makin berisi" while showing my chin (my eheemm double chin (T_T))

I thought she gonna stop at there, but then she continued scaring me by saying if you keep gaining weight, it will be very difficult to lose. She even asked me to stop eating rice at night. Wow. And continued with a lot of advice.

I actually not offended by what she said. Because they were all true and she said it with the right tone. Haha.

It just I have gastric and I don't have the gut to stop eating rice altogether. Maybe I should cut the portion a bit? I guess I should because I'm so scared if I get so fat. Or maybe rice in the morning, sandwich for afternoon and mee for night?

I will give it a try starting today (^_^).

Last but not least, me with some Perfect365 apps picture editor.

Weight Gain Again

>>  11 November 2014

I was 80 kg when I gave birth. Gulp. Then I lose some weight down until I was 58 kg. I believe it was due to my confinement lifestyle. I didn't eat a lot, no ice and less oil and sugar. After I finished my confinement days, I started eating oily foods and sugary drinks. And when my daughter reached 7 months, I started drinking ice. Now, every now and then I drink ice like 2 to 3 times a week.

The result?

I have a belly. A lot of stomach fat. And now my weight is 60 kg (which I measured 1 month ago with and I am not sure whether the scale was not broken, sigh).

I think right now my stage is very critical. If I'm still wearing tight outfit like before, people will think I am 4 months pregnant! Yes, I am not lying. Back when I was studying in Uni, my weight was 50 kg. Getting older my weight became 53 kg. And after I got married, since I was too happy being a wife and pampered with love from hubby, I gained my highest weight at 58 kg.

So sad.

So what I'm gonna do now is buy a weight scale. Haha. Yes, I don't have any. Then I also need to start pay attention to what I'm eating.
1. No ice anymore
2. No fried rice/meehun
3. Only 1 scoop of white rice
4. Cheat day 1 day per week
5. Less oily food

I think I have Malay stomach so I cant exclude rice from my everyday meal.

Hihi.

So how about exercise?

Not for now. I never exercise (I did try exercise before but only last for 1 week), so I don't think I will do it.

Hehe.

My casing supposed to have 2 ears but my daughter ate one of it

Lets become healthy together.

Till then, Assalamualaikum.

Whatever works

>>  03 July 2014

Remember when KL/Selangor was so hot last 2 weeks? My skin responded to that weather. I have a very sensitive skin on my face, so it got peeled and itchy. So uncomfortable. The condition of my skin got even worse since I worked and slept in air-conditioning room. To make it even worse, I didn't want to spend my money on expensive moisturizer (scared it couldn't give best result and also because I'm cheapskate). So I just used the green Safi moisturiser and sunblock (which I forget the brand name). And they didn't help.

So after googling dry skin, I found out some people with dry skin use Rosken Dry Skin Cream on their face to cure the dryness. All this while I thought Rosken can only be used on body. Well I was wrong. The review on this Rosken cream was good. So I waited for weekend to arrive to buy it. But the weekend was 4 days more and my skin had became more drier.

So I just used this Palmer Cocoa Butter Lotion. Haha. I used this lotion during my pregnancy to prevent stretchmarks and there is still a lot of this lotion remains in the 2nd bottle. I became very desperate that I quickly grabbed it and applied it on my face.

I've been using this lotion for more than 1 week already. Thank goodness I don't have any zits breakout and the skin of my face has become more moist. So I guess I will keep using it.

Hehe.

So now the only problem I have is chubby cheeks.

Okay till then. Assalamualaikum.

My experience in taking pill to delay period

>>  26 February 2013

2 posts in one day. I am so awesome. Hihi.

I just have to write this so that it will be easier for people out day who want some knowledge on pill to delay the period. I took this pill because I was going for my honeymoon. Yes, what a correct time to have period. I need to stay clear from the period, that's why I made the decision to have this pill. For people out there, please bear in mind this pill I'm talking about can only delay period for short time (according to doctor). Please find other alternative if you are looking to delay your period for 3 months.

By the way the name of the pill I took is Norcolut.

Before I took this type of pill, I did research from the internet and ask one of my friend. The internet research was a bit helpful but I wasn't convince. So I straight away went to clinic to ask consultation from the doctor.

To make it easier, I will write down my timeline from the time I met the doctor until when I stopped taking it.
Oh before I went for the timeline, the estimated date for my period is 17th February 2013 and I need to stay clear from the period on the same date, 17th February too.

Timeline
15th February
-Meet Doctor, took my 1st pill at 905am
-Bleeding like period at 1230am (I was panic, ask friends around, apparently the period can actually come faster). Happened only one time. After that I just got spotting (minimal spotting)
- Took my 2nd pill at 905pm

Why I took the pill at the exact time? Because we are playing with our hormone here. There is graph for human hormone. Sometime it goes down and sometime it goes up. It is to ensure the effectiveness of this pill. At least this was what my doctor said.

16th February
- Took my 3rd pill at 905am
- Took my 4th pill at 905pm

17th February
- Took my 5th pill at 940am (I was rushing to take my flight)
- Took my 6th pill at 1040pm (I was so lazy to bring along this pill while having candle light dinner with hubby)

18th February
- Took my 7th pill at 905am
- Took my 8th pill at 905pm

19th February
- Took my 9th pill at 905am
- Took my 10th pill at 1030pm (laziness)

20th February
- Took my 11th pill at 905am

Total of 11 pills I took for my honeymoon. Some even took up to 4 pills/day to delay their period. But I think it is dangerous to take this pill so much. I think the 2 pills/day are the optimum number of pills we should take. Anyway what I know, you should always ask consultation from the doctor first.

Side effects?
Breast tension. Other than that, I didn't feel anything. Alhamdulillah.

Next period?
Today is 26th February and I still don't get my period yet. I wish I will get it soon. It is important to ensure my cycle comes back to normal. But of course I know it wont come back to normal so soon. If one month from now I still don't get my period, then I will see the doctor.

Let's hope for the best. Insyaallah.

*Update

I just got my period on 3rd March 2013. Alhamdulillah. The delay was 1 week. Yey! :)

I hope this post helps anyone who search knowledge about this pill.

Till then. Assalamualaikum.

Sensitive

>>  08 August 2012

No not emotionally sensitive. Its skin sensitive. Yesterday I break fast with drinking soy bean, the big one. You know how ppl say soy is very good to skin? Can make your skin more glowy and soft? That is so not true! Well at least for me.

I got rashes on my face now. I feel uncomfortable. Its itchy and got redness like I've been bitten by mosquito. So not cool. Sorry if I exaggerated. Only three areas are like that but they seriously enough to make me swear I'm not gonna take any soy after this.

Since it felt bad, so I googled. Its true. Some ppl is allergic towards soy. I am also utterly sensitive towards the big  prawn. I ate mee udang back when I was in university, and man, I got a lot of those bumpy mosquito bite. I mean a lot! And the worst of it, it was when I had date with my boyfriend! In Jusco!

I thought washing my face with water will make it calmed a bit, but it didn't! It made it much worse. Seriously, after that whenever I want to eat the big prawn, my fiance will forbid me. But its not always like that. It just that mee udang in Tronoh there. Like the sauce of the mee udang was cooked together with the prawn and re-heated over and over again. Causing a certain reaction which then can affect me, the sensitive skin girl.

Pftt.

I guess I can't have soy and prawn when I'm pregnant. Just to be safe.

Okay. Bye.

Assalamualaikum.

Need some refresh

>>  05 June 2012

I've been neglecting myself a lot lately. I didn't buy any new clothes for months. Its outrageous. When I woke up in the morning, I can no longer mix n match my outfit since I already wore all combinations of the outfit. I feel pathetic. Can please someone give me new clothes? To make it worst, I don't even realize my purse is so ugly even my mom said if I saw a girl caring a purse like you, I will say she's a messy girl. Man. I need to rejuvenate myself. First, shopping. Second, shopping. Third, shopping. Shopping needs money though.

Till then. Assalamualaikum.

Getting fat

>>  19 January 2012

Did you know exercise is very important? One of the reason is it lets your blood circulation goes well and when your blood circulation goes well, every process in your body system become smooth. So when those unhappy moment come visiting you (I'm not just talking about those days in every month), your body won't react so badly and you will still be able to have your life as you planned.

Well I have said the objective, now let me introduce you to one of my fat pictures for some motivation

duh I'm not gonna show my fat body. it looked sexy and inappropriate

Sometimes it is good that you have those kind of picture. It reminds you to always take care of yourself. Don't just do whatever you want to do. Gotta love your body okay? Butttt make sure you keep your ugly picture tightly. Don't let others keep it. Haha.

Well the reason I'm writing this post is that I want to start exercise back! I feel I'm not so fit anymore. The spare tyres are everywhere! And other than that, just wanna feel those good sweaty feeling. Teehee. Nasty yikes.

Below I list down my exercise regime (wannabe ;P) :

1) Lunges ( 3 set x 8)

2) Squat (3 sets x 8)

4) Push up (3 sets x 8)

4) And last but not least cycling for 15-30 minutes

As you can see 3 of the exercises are for thigh. I have quite a big thigh so just want to shape it up a bit and make it more toned. I promised myself I'm gonna do this exercises at least 3 times a week. Oh other than that, I also promised myself that after eating I'm not gonna lie down because did you know it can actually make your tummy buncit.

I'm so lazy to write a post lately. So I will stop here.

Till then. Assalamualaikum.

Getting Old

>>  31 December 2011

I believe the title sound so exaggerating for those who is older than me. I just drive from my house in Lumut Perak to my cousin's house in Seri Kembangan, take about 4 hours because I use the longg road but duhh I feel tired and my back aches. And my eyes have this sensitivity towards air-condition (I also get it when I go to any air-conditioned room). They get blurry and sore easily. I believe because my eyes are a bit dry. Gotta try those eyemo moist one day.

As you getting older it is very necessary to take care of yourself better. Here I list down some things that you can actually consume to feel better or even just grab the benefits it offers:

1) Honey - why it is good? It stated in Al-Quran that honey is a very good healer to many diseases. And its true. You can find dozens of study about honey and ppl's experience using honey. Honey will help with the natural healing, kill the bacteria, reduce sore throat and coughing and also can make our skin and hair looks healthy and shiny. I really wonder can it help to increase memory and other pain? But need to find the original honey. I'm thinking to get an original honey myself but not for me but for him because he often have this back ache and always forget things. He even forget the color that I dream of for my wedding even I just tell him the day before! Uhuhuk (-_-)

2) White water - this definitely is good for human body and we even have been told or heard about it many times but are we actually drink it with the right volume? Human need to drink water 8 glass a day (optimum). I guess no need for me to elaborate more about benefits of water. I believe ya all know it already. So drink it now!

3) Fruits - they contain a lot of vitamins. Well fruits are definitely the main source of vitamins. And the vitamins contain in fruits are definitely clean and do not undergo any chemical processing. Trust me I learn about process so I know definitely they will be some residue left when processing those synthetic vitamins. However it is extremely important to take fruits in appropriate amount and by that I mean don't eat sooo many fruits in a short duration. Btw, I know its durian musim now. Control yourself pls.

If you search there are so many good things for your body. I just list down three of them because I plan to discipline myself and consume those religiously. Heehee.

Till then. Assalamualaikum
